How Our Pricing Works
No published flat rates — appliance repair depends too much on the unit, the brand, and what's actually broken. Here's exactly how the process works instead, start to finish.
Step 1: You Call or Send a Request
Call (912) 304-4137 or use the form below. We ask a few questions — the appliance, the brand, what it's doing — confirm we cover your address, and explain the diagnostic cost on the phone before anything is booked. No surprises before we've even met. If it's a rental with guests inbound, tell us the check-in time right away.
Step 2: We Diagnose On Site
The technician arrives inside the scheduled window (with a call-ahead) and diagnoses the fault properly — test points, meter readings, error codes, and the brand's service data, not guesswork. Then you get a written quote for the exact repair: the part, the labor, the total. For remote owners and property managers, the quote goes out by text or email with photos of the diagnosis.
Step 3: You Decide
Approve the quote and we usually complete the repair the same visit from parts on the truck. If a part has to be ordered, we schedule the return trip before we leave. Decide not to proceed — because the math favors replacement, or you just want to think on it — and you owe only the diagnostic. We'll even tell you when replacement is the smarter play, because that honesty is what gets us the next call.
What Affects the Price
- The part — a door switch and a compressor are very different conversations.
- Labor time — a disposal jam is minutes; drum bearings on a front-loader are hours.
- The brand — premium-brand parts cost more than standard residential lines.
- Built-in vs. freestanding — pulling a built-in dishwasher or wall oven adds time, and tight Historic District installs add a little more.
- Condition of the unit — coastal corrosion can turn a simple part swap into a judgment call, and we make that call with you, not for you.
What You Won't See
- Hidden trip charges or fuel surcharges inside Chatham County
- An hourly meter running while we troubleshoot — the diagnostic is a flat, quoted cost
- Parts on the invoice you never approved — the written quote comes first, always
